Know firms with CAD archives? Refer them.

AI labs are licensing real CAD archives from firms like yours.

Years of drawings, models and revisions show how things actually get designed and built. The internet doesn't have them. You do. We take your archive to the labs that are buying.

If your firm has several years of drawings, models or BIM projects, you may well qualify. Labs license two kinds of design data.

Drawings and models

The core of an engineering archive: the sheets and models your team produced, with the revisions that show how a design changed. Labs want it to teach models how parts fit and how drawings get made.

  • 2D drawingsDWG and DXF sheets, details and PDF drawing sets.
  • 3D parts and assembliesSolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, NX, Creo, STEP and more.
  • Revision historyPDM and vault histories: what changed, when, and why.
  • Supporting recordsBOMs, specs and change orders beside the models.

Buildings, meshes and scans

How real buildings and objects come together: BIM projects with every system modelled, printable meshes, and scans of what was actually built. Rare, and labs look for it in volume.

  • BIM projectsRevit, IFC, ArchiCAD and Navisworks models.
  • Meshes and 3D printingSTL, 3MF, OBJ and FBX files.
  • Scans and point cloudsE57, LAS and ReCap captures of real sites.

Four steps. You approve every one.

No uploads to get started. You describe what you have, we review it, and if it fits we take it to labs that are buying.

  1. 2 minutes

    Create an account.

Your name, your company and a password.

  2. 10 minutes

    Describe your files.

Pick the file types you have, then say roughly how much there is and what's in each.

  3. After review

We take it to AI labs.

If it's a fit, we talk it through with you, then bring it to the labs that are buying.

  4. Your call

    Approve and license.

    You choose exactly what's included. It's a one-time license.

Your files stay yours. You decide what gets shared: exactly which files, who sees them and for how long.

  • You approve everything

Nothing is included without your sign-off, file type by file type.

  • Nothing moves until you sign

Your files stay in your systems until there's a signed agreement.

  • Client details removed

Names, addresses and client identifiers are taken out before anything is used.

  • You keep ownership

A license, not a sale. You keep your files and your company.

Questions.

Questions? Write to us at hello@example.com.

Do you need our files to get started?

No. You describe what you have by file type: roughly how big it is and what's in it. Files only come into it after you've seen and approved an offer.

Do we give up ownership?

No. It's a license, not a sale. You keep your files and you can keep using them however you like.

A lot of our work was done for clients. Does that count?

Sometimes. It depends on your contracts and NDAs. Tell us roughly how much is yours and how much is client work, and we'll work through it with you.

What about defence or export-controlled work?

Anything under ITAR, EAR or similar controls stays out. Let us know if you have any, so we can keep it out from the start.

Which file formats?

Most of them: DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, NX, Creo, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, IFC, ArchiCAD, STL, 3MF, point clouds and more. If you don't see yours, add it as "Other".

Is there a cost?

There's no upfront cost.

Who is licensing this data?

AI labs building models that can read, reason about and create engineering and design work. We don't name buyers until there's an offer on the table.

How long does it take?

Describing your files takes about ten minutes. After that it depends on what you have; we keep you posted at every step.

Let's see if your archive qualifies.

Create an account and describe the files you have. You don't need to upload anything to find out.
